On August 24, 2021, Runneng 118 35KV cable laying ship was rebuilt and delivered at Zhejiang Zhoushan Huafeng Shipyard. The ship belongs to Tianjin Green Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Holding Company's offshore sector, and the chairman of the Holding Company Mr. Ke led a team to attend the delivery ceremony.

Runneng 118 is a cable laying ship in offshore navigation area, with a length of 76.2 meters, a width of 24.3 meters, a molded depth of 4.8 meters, a full-load draft of 3.5 meters, and a full-load displacement of 6,032 tons. It is equipped with a Φ18-meter cable turntable and a Φ17-meter fixed steel structural cable reels, with a loading capacity of 3,000 tons. In addition, the ship is also equipped with other auxiliary equipment such as: Crane 30 tons @ 26 meters, 8 sets of 35 tons positioning winches, 40 tons hydraulic door cranes, buried plows, etc. (burial depth 0 to 4 meters, every minute 0 to 20 meters). The self-sustaining capacity of the ship is about 720 hours, which can meet the laying requirements of 35KV submarine cables of various specifications.

After the completion of the delivery of Runneng 118, it will go directly to Yangjiang, Guangdong to participate in the laying of the submarine cable of Qingzhou III Project. The Project in Yangjiang and Qingzhou is currently operating in sea areas with extremely far offshore (about 55km) and deep water depth (about 41m-46m) in China. For deep-sea projects with extremely complex environments (average silt depth of 22 meters), Runneng 118 will use its own excellent equipment advantages for the submarine cable laying under complex conditions in deep sea areas. This will be the breakthroughs and innovations in domestic deep-sea wind power submarine cable laying.
Do not change the original intention, the mission will be achieved. In the face of the rapid development of domestic offshore wind power generation and the lack of related wind turbine operating ship resources, the Holding Company seized the opportunity to meet the challenge. Through resource integration and operation, it completed possession and layout of core offshore equipment such as platforms, deep-sea cable laying ship, piling ship and offshore construction in a short period of time, and quickly enter into deep-sea offshore wind power projects, won the industry's reputation.
