At 11:18 on December 24, 2020, the Taishan Xinhao 150MW Fishing Solar Complementary PV Power Generation Project participated by Green Holdings held a grand groundbreaking ceremony at the site. The project was launched in 2019, officially started on December 24, 2020, and is scheduled to be fully connected to the grid on September 30, 2021.

Taishan Xinhao Fishing Solar Complementary PV Power Generation Project intends to build a new energy power plant that integrates photovoltaic power generation, modern facilities, ecological aquaculture, agricultural leisure and sightseeing based on some aquaculture ponds in Hengshan Village, Dadan Village, and Gaochanwei, Wencun Town, Taishan City. The total planned water area is 147 hectares.
The project will comprehensively use the aquaculture model obtained from mature, advanced and practical R&D and practical experience in the aquatic industry, through pond bottom transformation, precise combination feeding, balanced oxygenation, algae and fungus regulation, biological sterilization and other technologies, and make full use of the favorable factors of partial shading of the photovoltaic array, supplemented by pond transformation, to improve the pond aquaculture environment and the quality of aquatic products through ecological aquaculture methods to achieve the goal of aquatic safety. At the same time, ensure to realize the comprehensive and effective use of land.
In order to fully demonstrate the complementary photovoltaic power generation, the whole industrial chain of solar energy and the production process, and establish a new image of Wencun science and technology, the Project Department also plans to select a site around Hengshan Village and invest in the construction of a multi-functional exhibition hall. After the exhibition hall is completed, it will serve as an ideal window for the town to display photovoltaic power generation, aquaculture, characteristic agriculture, maritime tourism, Shenzao natural hot springs and other Wencun characteristic industries and scenery and make due contributions.
