At 23:10 on November 25, 2021, the submarine cable laying of "Runneng 118" in Yudean Yangjiang Shapa Offshore Wind Power Project was successfully completed.
"Runneng 118" is the first multi-functional cable-laying vessel invested and built by Green Holdings, registered with China Classification Society (CCS). The overall length of the vessel is 76.2m, the molded width is 24.38m, the molded depth is 4.88m, the cable loading capacity is 3000t, and the self-sustaining force is about 720 hours, which can meet the laying requirements of various specifications of 35KV submarine cables.
The site of Yudean Yangjiang Shapa Offshore Wind Power Project involves about 48 square kilometers of sea. The water depth ranges from 23 to 27 meters in the site area, and the shortest distance from the land is about 16 kilometers. The operation tasks are 9 Submarine cable laying, in order: WT2-WT1, WT6-WT5, WT1-WT14, WT12-WT23, WT48-WT49, WT45-WT46, WT17-WT16, WT32-WT31, submarine cable between WTGs and WT4-booster station interval cable.

Before sailing, by checking the weather forecast, the "Runneng 118" team knew that the offshore construction operation was short on time and the task was arduous, so they urgently formulated a shift strategy. The team worked day and night, overcame obstacles, closely cooperated with the crew, with high motivation and high efficiency, and completed the set tasks on time with high quality, which was highly recognized by the owner.
